These texts have been collected by Sjúrður Gullbein in 2000-2001 in connection with working on the Faroese speech synthesis. The content of the texts is webpages and content from news papers, and some from literary fiction books.  While working with the Faroese speech recogniser, Iben N. Debess og Sandra S. Lamhauge have converted the texts from a doc-format to a txt-format with an ISO-8859-10 encoding.
