Reforming and regenerating the public sector
The Ministry is putting much effort into its coordinating role in the work to improve and further develop the public sector. The efforts to reform and regenerate the public sector will be based on the basic values in the Government Declaration, in which inclusion, user participation and industrial and business development are pillars. Quality, accessibility, fairness and economic effectiveness are important considerations for the public sector.
The reform efforts are aiming at more welfare and less administration, as well as an innovative, dynamic and knowledge based commercial sector.
Organising the state regional and local activity will be a pivotal task. The needs of the citizens and businesses will be the focal point for further development of Digital Norway.
