Joik artist Wimme Saari has become world famous with his original style in traditional Sámi music. In his music he mixes old joiking technics with modern electronic elements. Nature, animals and people are strongly present in his joiks.

Hilda Länsman is a young Sámi singer and song writer, who became known in Finland, when she took part in Eurovision qualification song contest UMK, with her mother Ulla Pirttijärvi-Länsman, in spring 2015.
