At 2 p.m. MU DOHKKA – Exhibition opening

The Sámi Children’s Cultural Centre opens exhibition MY DOHKKA, with the theme dolls and toys. The purpose is to show a variety of hand-made dolls, as well as the simplicity and ecological thinking of toys. The exhibition is organized in co-operation with Sámi Duodji Ry and Kautokeino Duodji Institute. The exhibition will be on display in Sajos from 6th of February to 31st of May 2016.

THE SÁMI NATIONAL DAY CLUB-EVENING
On the Sámi National Day the Sámi Cultural Center Sajos will host a traditional club-evening on the 6.2.2016. The evening will be crowned with the Finland´s qualifying joik competition for Sámi Grand Prix – music contest. Club-evening is free of charge and age limit is 18+. GENUINELY - MARION! ANNIVERSARY CONCERT
The anniversary concert moves from Marion’s early days of her career up to this day, and during this time – all eras – are palpable. Welcome to join the time journey with Marion on Wednesday 17th of February starting at 7 p.m. Marion Will be accompanied by a concert conductor Jari Puhakka & Band. Tickets: 27 euros in advance, 30 euros by the door, an hour before the concert starts.

Sámi Duodji association organizes in cooperation with Sámi Cultural Centre Sajos Sámi handicraft market and flea market at Sajos, Inari 19th of November 2016. Sellers all around the Sámi land gather to the lobby of Sajos. The market is a great place to explore the latest trends of Sámi handicrafts and make Christmas gift shopping.
