Always check the weather

Even if the weather is fine in the morning it does not mean that it will stay that way all day.

Check the weather forecast: http://www.yr.no

The forecast says that it will be some light rain and approximately 10 degrees Celsius. We still recommend you to bring sunscreen, as the weather might shift. We also recommend you to bring some light mosquito spray, a rain jacket, a warm sweater and a good pair of shoes.

Taxi

There are taxis available in Alta, and drivers usually speak English.

You can hail a taxi off the street or pick one up at the many taxi ranks throughout the cities and towns - or simply phone for one yourself. + 47 784 35 353
