This document is a list of loanword suffixes which have a long monophthong.
This affects mainly non-high vowels, like a, e, o. The orthography has a way of marking high vowels as long: iij, uv, ov.


Rule: The stressed vowel of the source language is long before QI or QII

In the words which end in a, the long monophthong in the centre prevents latus lengthening from applying. /looka/ vs /lokaa/
