Aspaker about russian ban

I am informed that the measures carried out by Russia against the import of foodstuffs from the EU, Canada, USA and Australia also will have an impact on the Norwegian seafood industry. We are following the situation carefully, and we are in a close dialogue with the industry. The Norwegian Government proposes increased flexibility in the state ownership of Telenor ASA and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA

In the forthcoming white paper concerning direct state ownership in enterprises, the Government will announce that it will propose to the Storting (the Norwegian Parliament) the flexibility to reduce the state’s ownership in Telenor ASA and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA to 34 per cent.

New Government in India

Narendra Modi, who led his party BJP to victory in the Indian general election, was sworn in as Prime Minister on 26 May. Mr Modi invited heads of government from neighbouring states in South Asia to attend the ceremony.
