Through questions to members of the Government, the representatives in the Storting may get information about specific issues, and insight into the Government’s attitude towards current political questions. Usually the Question Time in the Storting will be held every Wednesday.
- Oral Question Time: The representatives can ask questions that are not announced in advance
- Ordinary Question Time: Members of the government answer written questions submitted in advance.
- The representatives on the Storting may also send written questions to the government, and the relevant minister must reply within six workdays.
