The Government at Work
In Norway, most decisions made by the executive power are taken by a minister in his or her capacity as head of a ministry. Often, such issues will first be discussed in a government conference presided over by the prime minister.
Any decision which a minister does not have the autority to take, will be taken by the Council of State - that is by the government assembled as the King's Council. All such matters will first be discussed in a government conference.
Erna Solberg's Government
